While it’s challenging to alleviate stress, we can take time to refocus and remember just how much we are loved, valued, forgiven, and empowered. God loves us so much he wants us to know him personally, so he sent his son, Jesus, to earth to demonstrate his boundless love for us. 1 John 4:9: Love came down to earth,“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.” God created us because he loves us and wants to have a relationship with us. 1 John 4:10: “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. God loves us so much that he not only sent Jesus to earth. He sent him to the cross at Calvary. Love came down all the way. Love came down to the cross. There’s no one like Jesus. No one has loved like Jesus loved. Whoever loves God will happily receive and embrace everything that comes down from him.
